Ship Alleghany


Liverpool, England to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
14 November 1834

DISTRICT OF PHILADELPHIA
I, A Michaels do solemnly, sincerely, and truly swear that the Report or Manifest subscribed with my name, and now delivered by me to the Collector of the District of Philadelphia, contains, to the best of my knowledge and belief, a just and true account of all the passengers which were on board the Ship Alleghany at the time of her sailing from the port of Liverpool or which have been taken on board at any times since; that I am at present and have been during the voyage, master of the said vessel. And I do likewise swear that all matters whatsoever in the said Report or Manifest, are to the best of my knowledge and belief, just and true. SO HELP ME GOD.

* No one was born  and no one died on this voyage, therefore the 
  birth/death column has been eliminated.

* The column titled 'Country of which it is their intent to become 
  Inabitants' has United States of America for all entered so that 
  column has been eliminated.

The use of a ? indicates a word or letters that could not be read, 
due to quality of orignal document.

Correspondence 3/19/2003 passenger Culmer
Stephen Culmer and family that appear on ship Allegheny to Philadelphia 
are my ancestors. In fact the 2 year old Ann is my direct ancestor. My
